Teams: Cal vs. UCLAWhere: Haas Pavilion, Berkley, California
Start Time: 9PM EST, 6PM WST
Network and Announcers: ESPN, Dan Shulman, Jay Bilas, Bobby Knight
Notes: Both teams come into the game with a 21-7 record and looking up at Washington for the Pac-10 title. UCLA has been here before. The Bruins have won three straight Pac-10 titles. Cal is new in the game. Cal made a bold decision last year by firing Ben Braun and hired former Stanford coach Mike Montgomery. The usually sturdy Bruin defense has stumbled lately losing three out of five games. Cal on the other hand, has won six out of the last seven. UCLA thrashed Cal in their last meeting 81-66, so Cal is looking for revenge.

ReplyDeleteI might be going out tonight, so I may miss the start of the game.
ReplyDeleteSeeing as I don't really have much of an interest in this game, I'll be rooting for the Bears for you. :-)
And come conference championship week/weekend, I'll make up my general lack of live blogging this week with a live blog-apalooza during the conference championship games.
That's fine. I can split some of the live blogs during championship week with you.
ReplyDeleteMy laptop battery died on me at the end of that game. Sorry about that. I guess I should have brought the cord in. You'd figure that coming in 8-minutes into the game and charging it at halftime would be enough for it, but no.
ReplyDeleteNo problem
ReplyDeleteHow has the night of drinking away your Cal sorrows gone for you? :-)
