My Favorite Super Bowl Prop Bets

Gambling has always amazed me. People are willing to bet money with odds against them. Me personally, I like to keep money in my pocket, especially in today's climate.

But there will always be a person gambling, no matter what the economic conditions are. And this years Super Bowl is no different. So here are some of my favorite prop bets for Super Bowl XLIII.

- Who wins the coin toss

- Coin toss: heads or tails, yes you can bet what side of the coin it will land on during the coin toss.

- Team to score first

- Will there be a safety

- Will either team score 3 straight times w/o the other team scoring

- Will either team score with the last 31/2 minutes of the game

- What will be the first offensive play

- Shortest made field goal

- Jersey number of the first player to score

- Will there be overtime

- How many coaches challenges

- Duration of the game

- How many times John Madden mentions Brett Favre (OK I made that one up)

- How many foods John Madden mentions during the broadcast (This one is real)

- How long will it take for Jennifer Hudson to sing the National Anthem

- Who will be tackles by their hair first: Larry Fitzgerald or Troy Polamalu

Thank God, this isn't the way our money is being spent by congress. Oh wait......

Will Warner break Montana's record of career Super Bowl passing yards (I forget what the exact number is, but it's in the 300s): No
