It's About Time

Will Clark was one of my all-time favorite players growing up as a kid. His smooth swing and flawless defense was perfect for the "humm baby" days for the San Francisco Giants.

Then he was let go. Before the 1993 season the Giants were bought by Peter Magowan bought the team and saved them from becoming the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Then Magowan signed Barry Bonds, which would signal the end of the Will Clark era.

Because the Giants signed Bonds to a huge contract they couldn't afford Clark. So he signed with the Texas Rangers and left forever. That was until today.

Will Clark has been signed as an special assistant to the front office. He will work with the young players with their hitting. And anyone who watched the Giants last year knows they need help with hitting.

I am just excited to see "The Thrill" back with the Giants. They sure could use the "humm baby" attitude to go along with Tim Lincecum's golden arm.
