Gruden Isn't The Only One Taking Abuse

A lot of players piled on former Buccaneers coach Jon Gruden. And it got me thinking, why isn't Monte Kiffin taking any abuse. It was his defense that fell apart after he announced that he would join his son at Tennessee. He was the one who was growing old and stale. Well one of his former players finally spoke out about Kiffin.

All-pro Ronde Barber finally let loose on Kiffin. "He did a lot of great things for our defense for 12 years. But 12 years of the same thing - people start figuring you out.

"That's not to say our defense wasn't innovative or that we didn't get things done. We were very consistent. But for me personally, it's almost like I'm changing teams now.

While this isn't the same beating Gruden has taken, it was about time someone spoke out about Monte.
