ReplyDeleteAnd it's weird for me to hear Mike Patrick doing a Big East game.
Being a MD fan, this Duke/GTown game is question of who I hate the most.
ReplyDeleteAnd Obama is in the house...
ReplyDeleteWatching the Flyers take on the Islanders right now, and in the process, hope they tie a club record for most consecutive victories against a team.
ReplyDelete"Brian Zoubek has been DQ'd, Dairy Queened 6 times." Clark Kellogg
ReplyDeleteGreat play by Powe to give Briere a goal and more importantly a 1-0 Flyers lead!
ReplyDeleteYou can hear the excitement in Nantz's voice doing that Torrey Pines promo...
ReplyDelete@ kt1000: Nantz <3 golf.
ReplyDelete/Captain Obvious'd
HARTNELL ON THE POWER PLAY SCORES FOR A CASE OF TASTYKAKES!!! WOOOOOO!!!!!!
ReplyDelete@JFein case of Tastykakes? a CSN promotion?
ReplyDeletereally funny seeing Ian Eagle in the studio.
ReplyDeleteWhile watching Bob Huggins,I really think the NCAA should ban coaches from wearing tracksuits during games.
ReplyDeleteI'm at the hospital with my brother. So I won't be around much today.
ReplyDeleteHope everything is ok, Keith
ReplyDeleteEverything is fine, but's he's getting the nasty Chemo (the type of stuff that makes you sick and tired) today so we'll be here a while.
ReplyDeleteWVU has the ball down 1 with 29.5 to go
ReplyDelete@Keith I've been there, so keep his spirits high
WVU leads
ReplyDeleteI don't know how much any of you are interested in the Kovalchuk sweepstakes, but it appears as if the Thrashers and Isles now at the game in Philly.
ReplyDeleteCome on Flyers, don't let something like this happen on your own ice. Gagne and a prospect for Kovalchuk. Do it. Now.
Louisville got screwed again on a bad referee call!
ReplyDelete@JFein i care more about what defenseman the Caps get ;-)
ReplyDeleteWest Virginia wins, but Rick Pitino has to be just pissed right now.
ReplyDelete@ kt1000: Everytime a Flyer scores, a case of Tastykakes is donated to the goal-scorer's favorite charity.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't know what Tastykakes are, it's Philly's version of Little Debbie, Hostess, what have you. And so much better.
and now Obama is being interviewed by Verne & Clark
ReplyDelete@JFein I love Tastykakes! Just didn't know what you meant...
ReplyDelete@JFein i love the Koffee Kake and Peanut Butter Kandy Kakes
ReplyDeleteWell well well what do you know, the refs just screwed the Flyers another goal?
ReplyDeleteThe puck crossed the net, then Hartnell bumped Roloson. It was initially ruled a goal but they "deliberated" and said it was no goal. The puck was clearly across the line before Hartnell bumped Roloson, even Islanders announcers admitted that!
Complete horseshit. Oh, and it's a "non-reviewable" play to begin with.
Nauseating. Just nauseating.
I have to ask: have the Reggie Love teabag photos been erased from the Internet?
ReplyDelete@JFein aren't you just asking for trouble from CC with comments like that? :-D
ReplyDeleteoh, and my team is 6 points clear at the top of the table, the Flyers problems don't exactly interest me
rewatching it, you could tell Verne LOVED talking to Obama
ReplyDelete@ kt: LOL!!!!!! I guess they really are just Twerps after all. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYeah, good point about CC, but still, you have to see how egregious that was in order to believe it.
Georgetown has just taken it to Duke all afternoon
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Joe Biden is hiding a beer in the Coke cup?
ReplyDelete@ kt: Probably.
ReplyDeleteWow...not a great commentary on the quality of the ACC
ReplyDeleteGTown wins 89-77 and it wasn't that close at all
"We're taking you to America's Great Landscapes with the CBS golf family!"-Jim Nantz
ReplyDeletei have never heard him refer to Phil Simms as part of the "football family"
Depaul leads Syracuse by 8
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone actually visit SixOvertimes.com to rewatch that game in its entirety?
ReplyDeleteFlyers somehow hang on to win 2-1 in a game they dominated.
ReplyDelete@ kt1000: I DVR'd it when ESPN Classic did their best of the decade and that actually showed the game and it's OTs in it's entirety. I have not deleted it yet.
ReplyDeleteI haven't quite figured out how DePaul is hanging on in this game, but the lead is down to 2.
ReplyDelete@JFein well, you can watch it anytime you want on the web!
@ kt1000: Something that everyone forgets is that that was a darn good basketball game in regulation. It was not one of those boring games that turned into a marathon, it was a fun and entertaining game for all 70 minutes.
ReplyDeleteWHAT A DUNK! IT TIES THE GAME AT 54
ReplyDeleteTHE ORANGE NOW LEAD
ReplyDelete@ kt: What channel are you watching the 'Cuse-Depaul game on?
ReplyDelete@JFein Big East Network/MASN
ReplyDelete3 for the Demons! Lead cut to 2
ReplyDelete"Depaul has the #4 team in the country on the ropes"- Play by play guy.
ReplyDeleteum, they had Syracuse on the ropes when THEY LED BY 18, NOT WHEN THEY'RE TRAILING BY 2!
SYRACUSE WINS! DEPAUL UNABLE TO GET A FINAL SHOT OFF
ReplyDelete@ kt1000: I must offer my congrats to you on getting Jim Zorn as your new QB Coach!
ReplyDeleteAfter all the laughing that you did......
/Sarcasm
//Knows Zorn is much more suited for the role he has with the Ravens than he did with the Deadskins
Is anyone watching the Kansas-KSU game?
ReplyDeleteSort of.........
ReplyDeleteDick Vitale has changed his hard-on from UNC and Duke to Kentucky, just claiming that Wildcat fans were the most passionate in all of college basketball.
ReplyDeleteKill me now.
I know it means next to nothing at this point in the season, but if K-State pulls the upset, Villanova will be ranked #1 for the first time ever.
ReplyDeleteBetween the ties of Hubert, Digger, and Jay, the court, and the fans, I don't think I've ever been so much purple in my life.
ReplyDelete@JFein 8:02 go on a tour of M&T Bank Stadium sometime ;-)
ReplyDeletealso, this is the 4th time ive watched K-State and their offensive sets seem lifted from the NBA. they stand around waiting for Clemente to do something.
"For anybody who recruits identical twins, it should be an automatic NCAA violation." - Dan Shulmman
ReplyDeleteSo there's a Markeiff Morris and a Marcus Morris???
ReplyDeleteDan Shulman is right. That should be an NCAA violation.
46-45 KANSAS STATE!
ReplyDeleteSparty is taking it to Northwestern
ReplyDeleteWith Villanova's schedule coming up...maybe being #1 may not be the best thing in the world, lol.
ReplyDeleteWhat a 3 by Collins!
ReplyDeleteOT Zorn on being hired by the Ravens. "I'm very excited about having a job, No. 1, and then having a job with another excellent organization" He can't mean the Deadskins, can he?
ReplyDeleteDid Vitale just mention Tim Tebow???
ReplyDeleteoof 4 fouls on Ostertag..I mean Aldrich
ReplyDelete@ kt: He was with Seattle when they went to the Super Bowl. He was probably talking about them, after all he was the QB Coach there as well.
ReplyDeleteNow that's 4 fouls on Marcus Morris!
ReplyDelete@JFein yeah. i forgot the sarcasm tag above.
ReplyDelete@JFein i don't think its a guarantee Nova becomes #1, Syracuse did destroy Georgetown Monday night
ReplyDeletejust great up and down action the last few minutes
Marcus Morris has fouled out!
ReplyDeleteHis twin brother, Markeiff, is still in the game with 3 fouls.
@ kt: It would take a pretty big push for Syracuse to leapfrog Villanova in the AP Top 25.
ReplyDeletehttp://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/rankings
Besides, Nova beat Georgetown as well and Syracuse barely got by bottom-feeder DePaul today.
ReplyDelete@JFein you know what i like about college basketball? the polls are irrelevant and it gets settled on the floor..
ReplyDeleteThe last 10 minutes of this game have been fantastic
Ouch. The back of Samuels' head just smacked the court.
ReplyDelete@ kt: Heck, this whole game has been an amazing and fantastic game.
ReplyDeleteCome on K-State! You don't need a 3 here!
ReplyDeleteWhy are we looking at Dick Vitale go nuts now?
ReplyDeletei think that steal could ice the game
ReplyDeleteHOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteand as soon as i type that
ReplyDeleteKState steal, basket and 1 more
OVERTIME!!
ReplyDeleteOVERTIME!!!!! WOW!!!!! THE REFS JUST SCREWED K-STATE!
ReplyDeleteI mean seriously......THIS IS A FOUL...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtbjfI9-5Vo
what does Sal Masekala do the other 355 days a year?
ReplyDeletethere was no foul at the end, the KState player lost control of the ball
ReplyDeleteESPN, if you ever get the Final Four, please make sure Vitale ISN'T doing the games. His performance has been pathetic tonight
ReplyDeleteIn this game, Sherron Collins has been compared to Peyton Manning, Tim Tebow, and has been lauded nonstop for his toughnenss.
ReplyDeleteThought it was a foul at first.....
ReplyDelete57.5 is right for the clock.
ReplyDeleteDo you foul here if you are Kansas State?
ReplyDeleteMan the 5-10 second differential is tough for a coach to call for the foul or not.
ReplyDeleteSHERROD COLLINS THE BASKET AND THE FOUL!
ReplyDeletei am not that impressed with Frank Martin as a game coach
ReplyDeleteWow. K-State just let this one slip away.
ReplyDeletei probably would have fouled JFein. Kansas has been horrible shooting FT's tonight
ReplyDeleteKansas Wins! The New #1
ReplyDeleteSorry JFein
Sherron Collins compared to Tebow, Jeter and Manning. Someone tell Dick to STOP THE HYPERBOLE
ReplyDeleteIncredible game but damn I was hoping that K-State would win that one, and not just for Nova either.
ReplyDelete@ kt: Don't be sorry, I know Kansas will be the new #1. I was just hoping that K-State would beat them.
