  1. WVU/Louisville has followed a similar course to Monday's Syracuse game.

And it's weird for me to hear Mike Patrick doing a Big East game.

  2. Being a MD fan, this Duke/GTown game is question of who I hate the most.

  3. Watching the Flyers take on the Islanders right now, and in the process, hope they tie a club record for most consecutive victories against a team.

  5. Great play by Powe to give Briere a goal and more importantly a 1-0 Flyers lead!

  6. You can hear the excitement in Nantz's voice doing that Torrey Pines promo...

    ReplyDelete
  7. @ kt1000: Nantz <3 golf.

  8. HARTNELL ON THE POWER PLAY SCORES FOR A CASE OF TASTYKAKES!!! WOOOOOO!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  9. @JFein case of Tastykakes? a CSN promotion?

  10. really funny seeing Ian Eagle in the studio.

    ReplyDelete
  11. While watching Bob Huggins,I really think the NCAA should ban coaches from wearing tracksuits during games.

  12. I'm at the hospital with my brother. So I won't be around much today.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Everything is fine, but's he's getting the nasty Chemo (the type of stuff that makes you sick and tired) today so we'll be here a while.

    ReplyDelete
  14. WVU has the ball down 1 with 29.5 to go

@Keith I've been there, so keep his spirits high

  15. I don't know how much any of you are interested in the Kovalchuk sweepstakes, but it appears as if the Thrashers and Isles now at the game in Philly.

Come on Flyers, don't let something like this happen on your own ice. Gagne and a prospect for Kovalchuk. Do it. Now.

  16. Louisville got screwed again on a bad referee call!

    ReplyDelete
  17. @JFein i care more about what defenseman the Caps get ;-)

    ReplyDelete
  18. West Virginia wins, but Rick Pitino has to be just pissed right now.

    ReplyDelete
  19. @ kt1000: Everytime a Flyer scores, a case of Tastykakes is donated to the goal-scorer's favorite charity.

If you don't know what Tastykakes are, it's Philly's version of Little Debbie, Hostess, what have you. And so much better.

    ReplyDelete
  20. and now Obama is being interviewed by Verne & Clark

    ReplyDelete
  21. @JFein I love Tastykakes! Just didn't know what you meant...

    ReplyDelete
  22. @JFein i love the Koffee Kake and Peanut Butter Kandy Kakes

  23. Well well well what do you know, the refs just screwed the Flyers another goal?

The puck crossed the net, then Hartnell bumped Roloson. It was initially ruled a goal but they "deliberated" and said it was no goal. The puck was clearly across the line before Hartnell bumped Roloson, even Islanders announcers admitted that!

Complete horseshit. Oh, and it's a "non-reviewable" play to begin with.

    Nauseating. Just nauseating.

  24. I have to ask: have the Reggie Love teabag photos been erased from the Internet?

    ReplyDelete
  25. @JFein aren't you just asking for trouble from CC with comments like that? :-D

oh, and my team is 6 points clear at the top of the table, the Flyers problems don't exactly interest me

    ReplyDelete
  26. rewatching it, you could tell Verne LOVED talking to Obama

    ReplyDelete
  27. @ kt: LOL!!!!!! I guess they really are just Twerps after all. ;-)

Yeah, good point about CC, but still, you have to see how egregious that was in order to believe it.

  28. Georgetown has just taken it to Duke all afternoon

    ReplyDelete
  29. I wonder if Joe Biden is hiding a beer in the Coke cup?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Wow...not a great commentary on the quality of the ACC

GTown wins 89-77 and it wasn't that close at all

  31. "We're taking you to America's Great Landscapes with the CBS golf family!"-Jim Nantz

i have never heard him refer to Phil Simms as part of the "football family"

    ReplyDelete
  32. Does anyone actually visit SixOvertimes.com to rewatch that game in its entirety?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Flyers somehow hang on to win 2-1 in a game they dominated.

    ReplyDelete
  34. @ kt1000: I DVR'd it when ESPN Classic did their best of the decade and that actually showed the game and it's OTs in it's entirety. I have not deleted it yet.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I haven't quite figured out how DePaul is hanging on in this game, but the lead is down to 2.

@JFein well, you can watch it anytime you want on the web!

    ReplyDelete
  36. @ kt1000: Something that everyone forgets is that that was a darn good basketball game in regulation. It was not one of those boring games that turned into a marathon, it was a fun and entertaining game for all 70 minutes.

    ReplyDelete
  37. WHAT A DUNK! IT TIES THE GAME AT 54

    ReplyDelete
  38. @ kt: What channel are you watching the 'Cuse-Depaul game on?

    ReplyDelete
  39. "Depaul has the #4 team in the country on the ropes"- Play by play guy.

um, they had Syracuse on the ropes when THEY LED BY 18, NOT WHEN THEY'RE TRAILING BY 2!

    ReplyDelete
  40. SYRACUSE WINS! DEPAUL UNABLE TO GET A FINAL SHOT OFF

    ReplyDelete
  41. @ kt1000: I must offer my congrats to you on getting Jim Zorn as your new QB Coach!

After all the laughing that you did......

    /Sarcasm
//Knows Zorn is much more suited for the role he has with the Ravens than he did with the Deadskins

    ReplyDelete
  42. Is anyone watching the Kansas-KSU game?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Dick Vitale has changed his hard-on from UNC and Duke to Kentucky, just claiming that Wildcat fans were the most passionate in all of college basketball.

    Kill me now.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I know it means next to nothing at this point in the season, but if K-State pulls the upset, Villanova will be ranked #1 for the first time ever.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Between the ties of Hubert, Digger, and Jay, the court, and the fans, I don't think I've ever been so much purple in my life.

    ReplyDelete
  46. @JFein 8:02 go on a tour of M&T Bank Stadium sometime ;-)

also, this is the 4th time ive watched K-State and their offensive sets seem lifted from the NBA. they stand around waiting for Clemente to do something.

  48. So there's a Markeiff Morris and a Marcus Morris???

Dan Shulman is right. That should be an NCAA violation.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Sparty is taking it to Northwestern

    ReplyDelete
  50. With Villanova's schedule coming up...maybe being #1 may not be the best thing in the world, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  51. OT Zorn on being hired by the Ravens. "I'm very excited about having a job, No. 1, and then having a job with another excellent organization" He can't mean the Deadskins, can he?

    ReplyDelete
  52. Did Vitale just mention Tim Tebow???

    ReplyDelete
  53. oof 4 fouls on Ostertag..I mean Aldrich

    ReplyDelete
  54. @ kt: He was with Seattle when they went to the Super Bowl. He was probably talking about them, after all he was the QB Coach there as well.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Now that's 4 fouls on Marcus Morris!

    ReplyDelete
  56. @JFein yeah. i forgot the sarcasm tag above.

    ReplyDelete
  57. @JFein i don't think its a guarantee Nova becomes #1, Syracuse did destroy Georgetown Monday night

just great up and down action the last few minutes

    ReplyDelete
  58. Marcus Morris has fouled out!

His twin brother, Markeiff, is still in the game with 3 fouls.

    ReplyDelete
  59. @ kt: It would take a pretty big push for Syracuse to leapfrog Villanova in the AP Top 25.

    http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/rankings

    ReplyDelete
  60. Besides, Nova beat Georgetown as well and Syracuse barely got by bottom-feeder DePaul today.

    ReplyDelete
  61. @JFein you know what i like about college basketball? the polls are irrelevant and it gets settled on the floor..

The last 10 minutes of this game have been fantastic

    ReplyDelete
  62. Ouch. The back of Samuels' head just smacked the court.

    ReplyDelete
  63. @ kt: Heck, this whole game has been an amazing and fantastic game.

    ReplyDelete
  64. Come on K-State! You don't need a 3 here!

    ReplyDelete
  65. Why are we looking at Dick Vitale go nuts now?

    ReplyDelete

  71. ESPN, if you ever get the Final Four, please make sure Vitale ISN'T doing the games. His performance has been pathetic tonight

    ReplyDelete
  72. In this game, Sherron Collins has been compared to Peyton Manning, Tim Tebow, and has been lauded nonstop for his toughnenss.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Thought it was a foul at first.....

    ReplyDelete
  74. Do you foul here if you are Kansas State?

    ReplyDelete
  75. Man the 5-10 second differential is tough for a coach to call for the foul or not.

    ReplyDelete
  76. SHERROD COLLINS THE BASKET AND THE FOUL!

    ReplyDelete
  77. i am not that impressed with Frank Martin as a game coach

    ReplyDelete
  78. Wow. K-State just let this one slip away.

    ReplyDelete
  79. i probably would have fouled JFein. Kansas has been horrible shooting FT's tonight

    ReplyDelete
  82. Incredible game but damn I was hoping that K-State would win that one, and not just for Nova either.

    ReplyDelete
  83. @ kt: Don't be sorry, I know Kansas will be the new #1. I was just hoping that K-State would beat them.
