Once again feel free to leave comments and quotes from the college football games that you are currently watching. I will in and out for most of the day so I will try and update this thread as much as possible. Since the college football season has become a snoozer, feel free to leave your comments here about UFC 105 and the Cotto/Pacquiao fight.
Here's this week's must list and announcing schedule
Mourning Games:
- This week the Gameday crew was in Fort Worth for the TCU-Utah game. And once again this year, Corso put on that ugly TCU mascot head.
- Via Sports by Brooks: Nick Saban drops an S-Bomb on live Alabama radio show. I'm sure the FCC will have something to say about this.
- All right we are going to forget that the mourning games in college football ever happened. They were too boring to discuss and to dreadful to watch. On to the afternoon games.
Afternoon Games:
- The Boise State-Idaho game on ESPNU is experiencing technical difficulties. That hasn't stopped Boise State from forcing a fumble and interception and taking an early 14-0 lead.
- The Iowa-Ohio State game is what the Big Ten is all about. Boring offense and great defense. Ohio State is leading 10-3 in the 3rd quarter, but Iowa has had their chances to take the lead. Iowa's receivers though have been a huge disappointment in this game. They have dropped multiple passes that would have gave them the lead.
- As soon as I say something bad about the Iowa receivers, they make some spectacular catches and tie the game. 10-10 between Iowa and Ohio State in the 3rd quarter.
- Tressel actually unleashed Terrelle Pryor and he successfully lead the Buckeyes down the field to take back the lead. 17-10 Ohio State in the 4th quarter. Let's see how Iowa is able to respond.
- Iowa almost pulled it off. They came back from 14 points down in the 4th quarter send their game into overtime. But Ohio State stopped Iowa in OT and then kicked the game-winning field goal. Ohio State beat Iowa 27-24 in OT, sending them to the Rose Bowl for their annual ass kicking.
Night Games:
- Since I continue to feel like crud today, I'm outta here for the night. Still feel free to leave comments on the games you are watching.
Pammie has invaded the ACC again.
ReplyDeletePurdue fumbles their first snap and Sparty returns it for a touchdown.
ReplyDeleteDuke drove right down the field on Georgia Tech and scored.
ReplyDeleteTouchdown Purdue! This Purdur-Sparty game isn't that bad.
ReplyDeleteGeorgia Tech has scored 21 unanswered points since going down 10-0. They are very impressive to watch.
ReplyDeleteDaryl Clark is really pissing me off. He already has 4 turnovers in the first half.
ReplyDeleteIndiana is beating Penn State 10-3.
The Tennessee-Ole Miss game is actually an exciting game. 21-14 Ole Miss at half.
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Saban needs to watch his mouth.
ReplyDeleteGreetings! Are the matchups really this bad that I'm stuck watching Sparty=Purdue?
ReplyDelete@JFein, the Tennessee-Ole Miss is pretty good.
ReplyDelete@JFein, I'm with Keith. I would watch the Tennessee-Ole Miss game on CBS.
ReplyDeleteWow. The Ole Miss gmae has quickly become a blowout. Back to crappy Big 10 football!
ReplyDelete@JFein, let's pretend these mourning games never happened.
ReplyDeleteYou want to watch some really crappy college football, then watch the 10-9 snoozefest between Louisville and Cuse.
ReplyDeleteDown goes Houston
ReplyDeleteUCF 37 Houston 32
If Navy Beats Delaware, can we count that as a loss for Michigan since Delaware and Michigan's uniforms are the same ?
ReplyDeleteWasn't Houston leading most of that game?
ReplyDeleteSure! If Navy beats Delaware, then that's as good as beating Michigan.
ReplyDelete@49er16
ReplyDeleteUCF actually led for most I believe
The most exciting game is the Idaho-Boise State game on ESPNU.
ReplyDeleteEffing ESPNU is having technical difficulties, so we can't watch the BSU-Idaho game.
ReplyDeleteThe Vandals have come back and made the game 14-7 Boise State.
ReplyDeleteI cant watch ESPNU because Comcast says its not available in my area
ReplyDeleteSteven Garcia (the other) USC QB just threw a pass into the back of one of his receivers
Boise State responds right back with another touchdown.
ReplyDelete21-7 Boise State in the 1st quarter.
Yeah !
ReplyDeleteMy Twerps lost 36-9 to VA Tech, the miserable trainwreck football season continues.
And how are Iowa and the Sweater Vest Suckeyes the 10th and 11th best teams in the country ?
14-0 Stanfurd over USC
ReplyDeleteTodd Harris is as bad of announcer as he is a sideline reporter.
ReplyDeleteI love how I get local games on Comcast California. Today I get Nevada vs. Fresno State.
ReplyDeleteHarris is just waiting to cover Worlds Strongest Man at the end of year.
ReplyDeleteBoise State is thrashing their rival Idaho 35-10 before the half. And they are driving for another score.
ReplyDeleteSt Timothy is on the verge of trashing the Ole Ball Coach.
ReplyDeleteAnd Julie Banderas on Fox News Channel said the word Gamecock when talking about S Car unis today specially designed to benefit Wounded Warrior Project.
Urban usually likes thrashing the Ole Ball Coach.
ReplyDeleteIdaho scored with :25 seconds left in the half and Boise State immediately returned the kickoff for a touchdown.
ReplyDelete42-17 Boise State.
Sean McDonough is having himself a field day in the Iowa-Ohio State game.
ReplyDeletePaint drying is more exciting than this Iowa-Ohio State game.
ReplyDeleteThe offenses have finally picked up in the Iowa-Ohio State game. The Buckeyes at Iowa's 30 heading into the 4th quarter.
ReplyDeleteI loved how one play after Danielson says Garcia had a Tebowesque play, he overthrows his receiver on the next one reverting back to Garciaesque
ReplyDeletedid USC and Stanford switch uniforms ?
ReplyDeleteUNC 30, The U 24 in 4th.
I'd rather not talk about Stanfurd.
