Another Saturday, another full slate of college football games. I won't be around till this afternoon, but my friend Jay will update the action. This thread is for your thoughts and impressions of the games that you are watching.
Here is the announcing schedule and the Pam Ward Chronicles thread. And here is the games that I would watch.
Mourning Games:
- Penn St. really hasn't looked that great against Syracuse. They lead 14-0 at halftime, but that score should be greater against that competition.
- The Iowa-Iowa St. game has been a comedy of errors. Between the two quarterbacks, there have been five interceptions thrown. Somehow Iowa leads the game 14-3, but there really is no winners in this game.
- You can tell Mark Danantonio is a Jim Tressel clone. Michigan St. is beating Central Michigan, but they have let them hang in the game. I expect Michigan St. to blow out Central Michigan in the second half.
- While watching the Fresno St.-Wisconsin game, I can't decide if Fresno St. is that good or is Wisconsin that bad. The Badgers lines have been dominated all day. I still expect Fresno St. to fall apart in the second half.
- Not the greatest day for Big Ten teams. Northwestern and Wisconsin barely escape with wins against Eastern Michigan and Fresno State. Michigan State lost Central Michigan on a last minute field goal.
Central Michigan was down by one with less than a minute left to play. Central Michigan recovered the onside kick and drove down the field to attempt a field goal. An offsides call by Sparty gave Central Michigan better field goal position, which lead to Central Michigan made field goal.
- Here's video of the Central Michigan game winning kick against Michigan State.
Afternoon Games:
- Oklahoma State is facing a letdown game against Houston. The Cowboys are currently losing to Houston 10-0. Watch out for the SI cover jinx in this game.
UPSET ALERT: Wyoming just blocked Texas' punt and returned it for a touchdown. They are beating Texas 10-6 before halftime with Texas driving. Also Houston is beating Oklahoma St. 24-7 at halftime. It looks like it will be a long day for Big XII South teams.
- Norte Dame and Michigan are tied right now. Michigan has been overmatched so far against the Norte Dame receivers, but their offense has kept them in the game.
- Jonathon Crompton has reminded everybody in Tennessee why he isn't a good quarterback. Crompton has already thrown two bad interceptions against UCLA. The Tennessee defense and the lack of offense by UCLA has kept this game tied at 10.
- Michigan is beating Norte Dame by 11 with the 4th quarter to go. Also UCLA is beating Tennessee. I can't wait for the Tennessee-Florida game.
- After being down at halftime 24-7, Oklahoma State has taken the lead 35-31 against Houston. There is 11:22 left in the 4th quarter.
Courtesy of JFein, here are the Central Michigan-Michigan State highlights. Watch for the onside kick by Central Michigan at the end of the game.
- Congrats to Jake Locker and Washington for picking up their first victory in over a year and a half.
- After allowing Oklahoma State to take the lead, Houston has come back to score 21 points in the 4th quarter. It's a final in Stillwater as Houston beat Oklahoma State 45-35.
- What a finish to the Norte Dame-Michigan game. With Michigan down by three, Tate Forcier drove his team down the field and threw a touchdown to give Michigan the 38-34 win. Forcier is going to be special for Michigan. And he's only a Freshman right now.
NIGHT GAMES:
- I don't think Ohio State wanted to start the game off with a Pryor interception which lead to an USC touchdown. Ohio State though seems like they can run on the USC defense though.
- Nice recovery by Ohio State. Pryor lead his team down the field which lead to a score. 7-7 all depending on the review.
Here is the final minutes of the Norte Dame-Michigan game. Watch the Norte Dame at the end of the game. They thought they had time left on the clock and the refs already headed to the locker room.
- Not a great day for Big XII teams. Right now Kansas State is losing to Kent State and Missouri is losing to Bowling Green. I guess that is just tough MAC competition for you.
- Also Alabama has struggled with Florida International tonight. Right now the Crimson Tide is beating FIU 20-14 going into the 4th quarter.
- The Big XII hasn't a good couple of weeks. Missouri barely beat Bowling Green. Kansas State lost to Kent State. Then you add in Colorado's loses and Oklahoma's loss to BYU last week and the Big XII is struggling this year.
- Ohio State reminds me of the Giants. Their defense(Giants pitching) is leaving everything on the field but the offense hasn't done anything. But that's what you should expect from a Tressel offense. Conservative all the way.
- Watching this Ohio State-USC game has made me realize two things about USC.
1) The USC defense usually struggles against athletic quarterbacks. And next week they face Washington and Jack Locker. Locker is one of the best athletic quarterback's in the nation and he could have a field day against USC.
2)USC's running backs are overrated. Cal's Jahvid Best and Shane Vareen are much better running backs than USC's.
- It's a final. USC comes from behind to beat Ohio State. Matt Barkley looked cool and poised driving USC down the field for the winning touchdown. I still think USC loses a couple Pac-10 games this season.
As for Ohio State, what can you say? They didn't embarrass themselves, but they weren't big in the big moment. The offense looked horrible and the defense finally caved to the USC offense. If Terrelle Pryor can figure out the passing game, they will be much better. But Pryor hasn't figured out the passing game, so they will struggle and they did tonight.
Matt Barkley looks like Spencer Pratt. I bet he's a douche like Pratt.
ReplyDeleteIf he grew a goatee, then he would really look like Pratt.
ReplyDeleteDoes Santonio Holmes still sell drugs?
ReplyDeleteQuick and easy touchdown for Michigan State. Is it just me or is this first slate of games really lacking this week?
ReplyDelete@JFein, no. These early games suck. I'm going to watch the Iowa-Iowa St game because there should at least be emotion in that game.
ReplyDeleteHehe...I'm signed in as Keith, so when I post quotes over at AA his name shows up.
ReplyDeleteLOL, the offenses in the Iowa-Iowa State game is so sloppy. I watched a high school game with more competent offenses.
ReplyDeleteWhoa. Fresno State 7-0 over Wisky and Central Michigan is looking like they are going to play Sparty tough. Maybe this early afternoon won't be as bad as I initially thought.
ReplyDelete@JFein, watch the Iowa-Iowa St. game if you want a good laugh.
ReplyDeleteHey Wake Forest, George Halas would like he offense back.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Iowa St. is trying to get some offense going. Which from what I read about the game earlier, is quite the improvement.
ReplyDelete@JFein, yes it's a vast improvement.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow. Fresno State is now up 14-0 over Wisconsin.
ReplyDeleteSomething tells me this is going to be an all-around embarrassing day for the Big 10. Except for my Nittany Lions, of course. They'll triumph over the Syracuse Pauluses.
I heard Syracuse pulled Paulus.
ReplyDeleteThey did WHAT???? LOL! Paulus sucks!
ReplyDeleteI really wish I got the BTN....
Paulus Sucks!!! Paulus Sucks!!!
ReplyDeleteI really wished Syracuse would play North Carolina this year.
21-7 Fresno State. Lolz.
ReplyDeleteWisconsin is terrible. Watch JFein, Fresno St. will fall apart in the 2nd half. It's happened before.
ReplyDeleteTouchdown Wisconsin. I've watched too many Fresno St. games to say this game is over.
ReplyDeleteTouchdown Central Michigan!
ReplyDeleteC. Mich. 13, Mich. St. 10
Fresno St. 21, Wisconsin 14
Penn State 14, 'Cuse 0
Lol. If only Iowa was losing as well, this day would be totally awesome.
Penn St. hasn't looked that great against Syracuse.
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! A 57-yard FG by Welch, the Wisky kicker. 21-17 Fresno St. at the half.
ReplyDeleteIf I had to tell you my 4 least favorite college football teams, it would probably read:
ReplyDeleteMichigan
Ohio State
Notre Dame
USC
My least favorite teams:
ReplyDeleteFlorida
LSU
Norte Dame
Stanford
You're right, Jay, it looks like Fresno State is going to find a way to lose this game.
ReplyDeleteAt least you're 4 least favorites are not playing each other in the 2 big games of the week...
@JFein, I lived in California for three years and watched too many Fresno St. games to tell you they will fall apart. It happens every year for them.
ReplyDeleteAnother great week for ACC football.
ReplyDeleteStanford is beating Wake Forest
Duke is losing to Army
UCONN is pitching a shutout against UNC
Touchdown Wisky with 5:45 to go!
ReplyDeleteYou know you're Bulldogs quite well, Jay. ;-) It's 23-21 soon to be 24-21 with the PAT.
Fresno St. proving me right. Too bad Keith has to work today, he could be watching Fresno St. falling apart again.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe Keith didn't sign out today. I keep making comments over at AA under his name.
ReplyDelete/needs to stop giving him credit.
Eastern Michigan just tied with Northwestern. Bad week for the Big Ten.
ReplyDeleteWow.....at least Penn State is winning! ;-)
ReplyDeleteIowa is winning too, but to call that game a football game would be an insult to football games.
Wow. Fresno State is driving with 29 seconds left.
ReplyDelete20 seconds left and Fresno State is attempting a 41-yard field goal for the tie on 4th down.
ReplyDeleteWatch Fresno St. miss the FG.
ReplyDeleteThis game's tied at 24!
ReplyDeleteDamn! I thought Fresno St. would miss that FG. This game will go into OT.
ReplyDeleteWisky has 16 seconds and a timeout left, though, this game may not be in OT yet.....
ReplyDeleteHOLY COW!!! LeFevour had Antonio Brown wide open in the endzone and he misthrew just enough to cause Brown to catch it out of bounds. Wow. Good thing there's 1:29 left for the C. Mich.
ReplyDeleteFresno wins the toss and elects to play defense first.
ReplyDeleteTouchdown C. Mich, but it looks like instead of the tie, they are going for 2 and the win with 32 seconds left.
ReplyDeleteI like the risk Central Michigan is taking.
ReplyDeleteOf course the Central Michigan grad Ray Bentley likes the decision to go for two.
ReplyDeleteThey are going for the win!!!!!! LEFEVOUR OVERTHROWS IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell at least Central Michigan had the guts to go for it.
ReplyDeleteWisky got a TD and Fresno starts their drive off with a delay of game penalty.
ReplyDeleteAgreed about Central Michigan. You really can't blame them for taking that risk.
ReplyDeleteI don't know which game to watch right now.
ReplyDeleteI'm going back and forth like a madman right now, if it makes you feel any better. This is nuts.
ReplyDeleteFresno St. went for the TD and the pass interference call was made.
ReplyDeleteKeith is missing these great finishes...hehe
ReplyDeleteBentley just admitted he hates Michigan St.
ReplyDeleteCentral Michigan has to attempt a long FG for the win.
ReplyDeleteTouchdown Fresno State!!!
ReplyDeleteTOUCHDOWN FRESNO ST.
ReplyDeleteC. Mich is about to attempt a 47-yard field goal with 8 seconds left.
ReplyDeleteOFFSIDES ON MICHIGAN ST. NOW CMU GETS A BETTER FG OPPORTUNITY.
ReplyDeleteOffsides on Sparty. It's now a 42-yard FG.
ReplyDeleteCrazy endings to both of these games.
ReplyDeleteIT'S GOOD AND CENTRAL MICHIGAN TAKES THE LEAD WITH 3 SECONDS LEFT.
ReplyDeleteJUST INSIDE THE UPRIGHT!!!!!!!! CENTRAL MICHIGAN LEADS WITH 3 SECONDS LEFT!!!!! INCREDIBLE!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLOL THE KICK HITS A SPARTY PLAYER AND RECOVERS. CENTRAL MICHIGAN BEATS SPARTY.
ReplyDeleteIT'S OVER!!! CENTRAL MICHIGAN WINS!
ReplyDeleteI have to take a break after this Wisconsin-Fresno St. game.
ReplyDeleteWISCONSIN WINS!
ReplyDeleteWisconsin escapes with a victory over Fresno St.
ReplyDeleteAll right I'm out. Keith should be back in about 30 minutes.
ReplyDeletePrediction: Notre Dame wins this game big.
ReplyDeleteLolz. Notre Dame just missed a chip shot 25-yard field goal.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I wasted my mourning covering a high school football game.
ReplyDeleteBig thnanks to Jay for posting quotes under my name at AA;-)
The Sharks have finally traded for Danny Heatley. And they didn't have to give up Marleau for him.
ReplyDeleteMichigan strikes first with a touchdown. 7-0 Wolverines.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Keith. You missed a (stunningly) great round of early games.
ReplyDeleteI know. From watching the highlights, I can't believe the endings to some of those games.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteHere's a YouTube video of the game-winning C. Mich field goal with the live call by Pam Ward. I'm currently waiting for someone to post a video of the onside kick as that was truly incredible.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7IbqUrBMl4
I will post those videos.
ReplyDeleteIf you find the onside kick video JFein, I will post it.
ReplyDeleteMichigan just scored on a Kick return.
ReplyDeleteI don't care who wins the ND-Michigan game, I just want somebody to get blown out. Thus far, it is looking like that somebody will be Notre Dame.
ReplyDeleteMy BU Huskies are currently up 17-7 over Mercyhurst in the 4th quarter! W00T!
ReplyDeleteTexas is barely beating Wyoming right now.
ReplyDeleteMcCoy looked like Brett Favre with that interception.
ReplyDeleteYour boy, Pedro Feliz, just launched a 2-run homer.
ReplyDeleteHe won't hit a home run though when it matters.
ReplyDeleteBTW, Houston is beating OK St. by 10.
Wyoming just blocked a Texas punt and returned it for the touchdown.
ReplyDelete"Utley hits one toward Cincinnati" - Howie Rose as Utley launched one deep as they were talking about what could have been MLB's 1st 3-way tie many years ago, and it involved Philly and Cincinnati (I forget the 3rd team or why that was the topic of conversation).
ReplyDeleteI have to check, but I'm pretty sure that he hit it toward New Jersey, not Cincinnati.
I don't get Versus, so you guys will have to keep me updated on that Texas-Wyoming game.
ReplyDeleteAnd Texas just took back the lead. 13-10 Texas at half.
ReplyDeleteI was part right. Balls hit to right at CBP are traveling northwest, therefore, it was hit toward New England and the Atlantic Ocean, not Cincinnati.
ReplyDeleteI found Texas and Wyoming on Justin.tv so now I can follow it with you guys.
ReplyDeleteYour going to have to watch that game for me JFein, as the Cal game begins in 10 minutes.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep tabs for you.
ReplyDeleteThe Old Man has retired 14 in a row for the Phillies after giving up a hit to the 1st five batters in the game
ReplyDeleteWhy is Moyer starting today?
ReplyDeleteBTW, the Giants have given up after that Phillies series. Good luck to the Phillies if they face Colorado in the playoffs.
The stream froze or something.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Texas has finally woken up.
ReplyDeleteThey scored easily to start the 2nd half.
Stream is back.
ReplyDeleteMoyer is starting because Happ injured himself in batting practice last week. They think that after this, Happ might miss one more start as well. Tomorrow the Phils have a double-header against the Mets and will be starting none other than Kyle Kendrick. Martinez will play the SNB night cap.
Touchdown Texas. It's now 20-10.
Michigan is at the ND 1-yard line. Sean McDonough is the man.
ReplyDeletePlease shoot me. Apparently a recorcing of Tim McCarver is singing Frank Sinatra over the loud speakers at Citizens Bank Park while the Phanatic danced around to it. This will now be talked about for the rest of the game.
ReplyDelete24-14 Houston.
TOUCHDOWN CAL!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat was quick. Texas will blow out Wyoming so I'm going to watch the Houston-Oklahoma St. game.
ReplyDeleteBTW, Oklahoma St. is now only down by 3.
ReplyDeleteTouchdown Michigan.
ReplyDeleteAnd OSU is now only trailing Houston by 24-21.
Oklahoma St. has taken their first lead against Houston then make a dumb lat hit penalty.
ReplyDeleteTOUCHDOWN HOUSTON
ReplyDeleteTOUCHDOWN CAL
Oklahoma St. has taken the lead back.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDelete@University, I figured they would.
ReplyDeleteAlso Houston is about to score on OK State
INCREDIBLE DEFLECTED TOUCHDOWN BY HOUSTON!!! THEY HAVE TAKEN THE LEAD.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteThat was me who posted about Texas creaming Wyoming.
ReplyDelete/Needs to learn to sign out of other Google account when doing school work.
For some exciting and nerve wracking baseball, the Phils lead is down to 9-8 in the top of the 8th. That game's on Fox if you're interested.
That was you? What is that account for?
ReplyDeleteThis is the best I can do with the C. Mich. onside kick.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTc0OJE29gc
University Democrats.
ReplyDeleteOh, are you still watching the Houston-Oklhama State game?
ReplyDeleteI'm flipping from that, the Phillies game, and the ND/Mich game.
ReplyDeleteHouston ball up 38-35.
Oklahoma St. gets the ball back at their own 20 with over three minutes left in the game. Still 38-35
ReplyDeleteDAGGER!
ReplyDeleteROBINSON THROWS AN INTERCEPTION AND IT'S RETURNED FOR A HOUSTON TOUCHDOWN.
Now Norte Dame has taken the lead. The ending to these games today have been crazy.
ReplyDeleteNotre Dame leads Michigan, 34-31.
ReplyDeleteWright homers off of Madson in the top of the 9th and the Mets lead the Phils 10-9.
ReplyDeleteUgh.
Myers must close for this team.
1st and goal Michigan down by 3 with 22 seconds left.
ReplyDeleteOh. And did I ever mention how great Sean McDonough is?
ReplyDeleteTOUCHDOWN MICHIGAN WITH 11 SECONDS LEFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFORCIER WITH SOME CRAZY PLAYS IN THAT DRIVE.
ReplyDeleteI THINK MATT MILLEN HAS JUST DRAFTED FORCIER FOR THE LIONS.
I want to see Mark May mock Lou Holtz now.
ReplyDeleteMichigan wins with a very odd finish.
ReplyDeleteMets win 10-9. Ugh.
I'm going to grad dinner, JFein. If you can find highlights from that Michigan-Norte Dame game, I will post them.
ReplyDeleteGOODBYE OHIO STATE.
ReplyDeletePRYOR WITH AN INTERCEPTION.
USC picks off Pryor and they take it down to the 3.
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Goal line stand for Ohio State.
ReplyDeleteWait. USC is going for it on 4th and goal.....
ReplyDeleteTouchdown USC.
ReplyDeleteSuicide Watch for Awful Announcing and kt.
ReplyDeleteJames Madison is beating Maryland.
@ 49er16: You're hosting the live blog tomorrow?
ReplyDelete56-yard pass for the Buckeyes and they are inside the 5 now.
ReplyDeleteTouchdown Buckeyes!
ReplyDelete@JFein, I will send you and Mookie the producer's e-mail tonight.
ReplyDeleteSend JC a panelist email as well. I don't know if he'll show or not, but the gesture would be worth it. If you want me to, I can email you kt's email as well.
ReplyDelete/Is pretty sure that there is another reason other than my bashing of Olbermann as to why JC has not been around all that much in the past few weeks.
Florida State is experiencing a different kind of thriller right about now.
ReplyDeleteThey are losing 9-7 to Jacksonville State with 12:06 left in the game.
Stay classy, Anon @ 5:37. Oh, and have fun with AIDS!
ReplyDelete@JFein, everything is created and the e-mails have been sent. I did send one to both JC and kt.
ReplyDeleteI have to run an early erand, but should be back in time to start the blog at around 9:00 PST.
Barkley is struggling.
ReplyDeleteOhio State's defense is better than what I expected.
ReplyDeleteThe trolls have come out for the OSU-USC game.
ReplyDeleteI'll be honest, I fully expected USC to mop the floor with tOSU. Credit to the Buckeyes for staying in this one for this long.
ReplyDelete/Knows it is only in the 1st quarter.
//Still expected game to be over by this point.
I did see it, JFein. There are a lot morons out there.
ReplyDelete@ JFein...that could be a true story!! Bestiality is more common and creepy than you think.
ReplyDeleteSeriously they need to go.
Musberger is really up for this game.
CAUGHT BY POSEY! DOWN TO THE 2 YARD LINE!
ReplyDeleteAll right I think I have gotten rid of most of the trolls.
ReplyDeleteBTW, Mookie I sent you and JFein producer e-mails.
Touchdown Maryland! They have tied JMU at 35! I wonder who AA is rooting for in that game....
ReplyDeleteFlorida State looks horrible against Jacksonville state.
ReplyDeleteGot your producer e-mail.
ReplyDeleteI should be ready around kickoff.
We have 3 different afternoon games to live blog so that's fun.
10-7 Buckeyes.
ReplyDeleteLots of problems for Barkley TONIGHT!
ReplyDeleteUSC is using the run to set up the pass. I think.
ReplyDeleteThe ESPN360 announcers of the JMU-MD game and the JSU-FSU game are 4 of the most monotonous people I have ever heard. And that includes sitting through a Pat Summerall called Cotton Bowl.
ReplyDeleteFSU has taken their first lead of the game.
ReplyDeleteGeorgia 31 SC 23 at halftime. Good grief.
ReplyDeleteBarkley's picked off!
ReplyDeleteBad, scripted throw by Barkley.
ReplyDeleteTouchdown Florida State with 35 seconds left!
ReplyDeleteAnyone notice Herbstreit's voice keeps cracking?
ReplyDeleteSo much for neutrality.
PAT is no good. FSU is up 13-9.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing worse that Herbie now is Bentley earlier, a C. Mich. alumnus who was rejected by Michigan State!
ReplyDeleteDAGGER! RYAN PERRILOUX FUMBLES AND FSU TAKES IT IN FOR 6!
ReplyDeleteIf the Giants can't beat Vincente Padilla, then they should just give up for the year.
ReplyDelete@ 49er16: That Mets-Phillies game was actually scheduled for Sunday Night Baseball months in advance.
ReplyDelete/Day-Night doubleheader'd.
I know it was scheduled in advance, but why? The Dodgers-Giants have more of a history together.
ReplyDelete/East Coast bias
//FUCK ESPN
"Penetration that time by Cameron Heyward!" - Brent Musberger
ReplyDeleteTwerps are going to OT with JMU.
ReplyDeleteSpencer Pratt looks good throwing. Except for that interception.....
ReplyDeleteCannot believe I am getting Bengals/Packers next week over Pats/Jets. KIRO sucks.
ReplyDeleteTo top it off Brennaman and Billick will be in SF for the Seahawks/49ers.
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDelete@ 49er16: Here are the ND-Mich highlights.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DDPL56uuoA
JMU missed a FG wide right. Terps turn in OT.
ReplyDeleteMaryland wins. Barely.
ReplyDeleteField goal is no good!!! USC comes away with no points.
ReplyDeleteTressel is just too damn conservative. I would have Pryor running wild on this defense. But he choses to have him throw the ball.
ReplyDeleteJust re-watched the end of the ND-Mich game (good job on finding a better vid). Those 2 seconds should not have ran off the clock like that. The receiver never touched the ball as it was bouncing out of the endzone for the touchback. Granted, the only thing Notre Dame could have done is run like hell to spike the ball and throw up a hail mary, but with the way that game and this day had gone, who knows what could have happened.
ReplyDelete10-10 at halftime in Columbus.
ReplyDeleteIdiot playcalling by Tressel at the end of the half. They could have milked the clock and went into the halftime with the lead. Now they are tied with USC getting the ball first in the 2nd half.
ReplyDeleteGreat field position for OSU. Now watch the Sweater Vest stay conservative and waste the opportunity.
ReplyDeleteOhio State's defense is really playing out of their mind tonight. Too bad for them that Tressel is completely mismanaging Pryor and the offense.
ReplyDeleteOH! SAFETY ON THE HIGH SNAP! BUCKEYES LEAD 12-10!
Watching Greatest 4th Quarters on NFL Network with Corey Dillon running for 278 yards that day.
ReplyDeleteDon Criqui and Steve Tasker were the announcers.
You going to burn the midnight oil JFein, and watch the Utah-San Jose St. game?
ReplyDeleteI won't be burning the midnight oil.
ReplyDeleteProbably not. Although I might watch a little Purdue-Oregon to track some Petros Papadakis quotes for AA.
ReplyDeleteNo alum should call his school's game.
ReplyDelete@ 49er16: Have we set a KSJ record yet?
ReplyDelete@JFein, we have obliterated a KSJ recored. I think the record for comments was only 80.
ReplyDeleteWow. 2nd page! Not that it counts, but this would be a FARN! record as well....
ReplyDeleteCincinnati just beat a team 70-3. Cal didn't even run up the score that high.
ReplyDeleteNFL Network is airing the Seahawks/Rams 2005 playoff game as a great 4th quarter.
ReplyDeleteThat was depressing to watch. :(
Mike Patrick's on 2 programs at once!
ReplyDeleteCall me uncaring, but I don't remember that game (not teasing you, I really don't remember it).
Sorry SSR.
ReplyDeleteAll I remember about that game was the Seahwaks not throwing it to Jerry Rice despite him being open.
Whoa. Georgia 38, S. Car 37.
ReplyDeleteDo you guys like the open thread style, with me posting comments and videos from all the games?
ReplyDeleteI will never forgive Holmgren or Hasselbeck for that game.
ReplyDeleteWe ignored Jerry Rice the entire game and had a stiff like Darrell Jackson dropping most of his passes.
Then Bobby Engram defined our season with his dropped pass in the end zone.
Made up for it next year though!
