There are a lot of words that play-by-play and color commentators use that we constantly ridicule. My all-time favorite is "deep penetration" even though they don't mean it in a dirty type of way.
Well there is a new phrase we can ridicule a commentator for. "Jerked off" was used by Chicago Cubs commentator Bob Brenly. Watch and listen to the video....
I still like "deep penetration" more, but "jerked off" can grow on me.
