EXCUSE ME WHILE I JUMP OFF OF THE BAY BRIDGE

Via SF Chronicle and Comcast Bay Area, San Francisco Giants will give prospect Madison Bumgarner the start tonight for Tim Lincecum. Lincecum will have his start scratched because of an injury.

Excuse me for a second.........

FUCK!!!

SHIT!!!

THERE GOES OUR CHANCES FOR THE PLAYOFFS!!!

FUCK!!!!

/WEEPS LIKE A LITTLE GIRL
//COMPLIMENTS SUICIDE
///STILL HATES THE DODGERS, ROCKIES, VIN SCULLY, BRETT MYERS, JAYSON WERTH, PRINCE FIELDER, AND LIFE

OK since I go that out of the way, let's look at the positives. Bumgarner is the Giants top pitching prospect. He's a 20-year-old left hander who has a great fast ball and a changeup favorable to Lincecum's. Also he will be making his first start against the pitiful San Diego Padres. This is the perfect opportunity for him. Matt Cain made his debut when he was 20.

Ah, fuck it.

I can't talk myself into this one. There is no details yet on what is hurting Lincecum. But if it's his elbow, then I will be jumping off of the Bay Bridge. Lincecum is the only thing right now Bay Area sports fans are into. We really couldn't care less about the 49ers even though they start their season on Saturday. We aren't making a bigger deal about Michael Crabtree not signing with the 49ers, even though it's past Labor Day because of Lincecum. In fact, Lincecum is the only reason why I'm living right now. OK maybe that's not true, but it's close.

The Giants are suppose to have a press conference at 3:45 to announce the roster move. Let's pray that Lincecum's injury isn't too severe.

UPDATE: Bochy has said that Lincecum has a sore back and that he shouldn't miss too much time. This is good news in the fact that Lincecum can make a start against the Dodgers.

/excuse me while I faint.

Now excuse me, I need a 30-pack of Keystone Light to drown my sorrow away.
